Overview:
The National Skin Centre (NSC) is an outpatient specialist dermatological center with a team of dermatologists who have the experience and expertise to treat every skin condition. NSC started its operations on 1 November 1988 after taking over the treatment of skin diseases from Middle Road Hospital. We handle a patient load of about 1,000 patients daily. We are a public health institution and a member of the National Healthcare Group (NHG), sharing the NHG vision of "Adding years of healthy life".
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the outpatient pharmacy operations (e.g. prescription processing, patient education, inventory management) and the corresponding performance, quality, and value-based indicators.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of clinical quality, medication safety, and operational efficiency in outpatient pharmacy.
- Manage patient feedback in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Corp Comm).
- Manage research drugs and sample drugs in outpatient pharmacy and oversee the DSC Pharmacy operations.
- Develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services in collaboration with inter-professional healthcare teams, and alignment with national/cluster/institutional strategic directions, evidence-based medicine practices, and healthcare/patient needs.
- Participate in the research activities in NSC Pharmacy and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide safe and accurate dispensing and comprehensive medication counseling to patients and caregivers.
- Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent and/or resolve medication-related problems with appropriate.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in public healthcare institutions.
- Registered Pharmacist.
