Overview:
Our story began in 1994, with a single Chronic Sick Unit with 174 beds at the former Woodbridge Hospital in Hougang. Five years later, in 1999, we took over seven pavilion wards in Moulmein (the former wards of Tan Tock Seng Hospital) to open our first nursing home. Since then, Ren Ci has grown to operate a total of 969 beds across a community hospital in Novena and two nursing homes in Ang Mo Kio and Bukit Batok. We will further expand our presence in the North with a new 332-bed nursing home slated to open in Woodlands in early 2024.
What You'll Do:
To perform the full spectrum of pharmacy services from procurement, inventory management, distribution, billing, reconciliation, dispensing, and medication education.
To assist in research, quality assurance, and improvement programs.
To assist in the compiling and analysis of data e.g. medication near misses, procurement, adjustments, and audits.
To assist in the training, supervision and mentoring of new staff, junior staff, volunteers, and attachment students.
Housekeeping of the pharmacy.
To perform other duties as may be required.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacy technician certificate.
- Basic knowledge of common medications.
- Relevant experience in hospitals will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Meticulous, good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Service orientated.
