Overview:
We have genuine care for the well-being of every patient who walks through the doors of Nuffield Dental. We believe maintaining good oral hygiene is vital to your health and happiness—the state of your teeth, gums, and jaws can directly affect how you feel daily. And we want you to feel great, always.
What You'll Do:
Chairside assisting.
Assist the dentist during the consultation and general procedures.
Assist dentists with procedures such as filling cavities or performing root canals.
Disinfection and sterilization of dental chair, room, and instruments.
Ensure dental surgery health and safety policies are adhered to.
Take notes from the dentist as per dictation for patients' records.
Explain to patients what their treatment entails.
Making models of patients' teeth.
Any other duties as and when assigned.
Working Days:
Job Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in Dental Assisting or equivalent. Candidates with relevant work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Training will be provided for those with less experience.
- Have excellent communication skills to reassure patients and create a friendly atmosphere in the dental clinic.
- Ability to educate patients on preventative and oral health care.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- The ability to use Plato is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Able to work night shift and weekends (five-day workweek).
