What You'll Do:
Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
Caseload Management: Efficiently manage a personal caseload while ensuring timely and effective treatment.
Multi-disciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Family and Patient Education: Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest developments in pediatric physiotherapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Planning and implementing Individualised Education Plan.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current full registration with the Allied Health Professional Counsel.
- Paediatric working experience is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English language.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent patient management and organizational skills.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- High level of empathy and patience with pediatric patients.
- Ability to create a supportive and motivating environment for children.
- Proficiency in using physiotherapy equipment and techniques suitable for children.
