Overview:
Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA), founded in 1969 by a group of 23 persons to promote self-help and provide mutual support among the disabled in Singapore, is an organization run by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. It was first registered as the Singapore Handicaps Friendship Club. It later became known as the Singapore Association for the Disabled in 1975. In 1976, it adopted its present name – the Handicaps Welfare Association.
What You'll Do:
- Assess and identify the individual needs of clients and formulate and implement appropriate physiotherapy programs.
- Evaluate and document the clients’ progress at regular intervals, monitor training programs, and review their effectiveness.
- Formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment program based on a knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of treatment skills.
- Provide appropriate information, education, and support for the client group and their caregivers.
Job Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy.
- 2- 3 years of experience in a Therapist position.
- AHPC Full/ Restricted Registration.
